The Livingstone is a major tributary of the Oldman near its head waters. It is considered the premier cutthroat river in Southern Alberta and is strictly catch and release fishing. The cutts inhabiting the Livingstone are sophisticated and well educated making them all the more desirable to catch. If you are up to the challenge this is the river you will likely find that trophy cutt you have been wanting for. 18"ers won't raise any eyebrows here you should come here with the full expectation of fooling at least one of that size.
Bulls of course make the Livingstone their home as well and every angler will have a tale of the 12" cutt that suddenly became very active running at lightning speed throughout the hole and then suddenly getting very, very heavy. If you are lucky you will see it. See the huge bully chasing and grabbing that poor little cutty. A change of rigging and you will have a good chance to hook that fish of a lifetime. The Livingstone is the river dreams are made of.
